三句话，学生考雅思作文永远铭记
不背则已，一背就要用。否则不要背诵。
不写作文而已，一写就要改或一写就要提高。否则不要写。
不上课则已,一上课的内容必须能够考场上用.否则赶老师下台.

1，很多学生其实还是非常用功的，但是很多的用工是一种心理安慰，没有用。比如：很多学生，英文怎么说，大部分学生就是：many students, amounts of students, a great number of students….等等。但是很很少有人会说 millions of students.其实我们的很多学生在背诵的过程中是多半见过这个表达的，但是从来没有想到能够用自己的作文里面。再比如：很多的研究表明，研究这个单词怎么说呢，很多同学就是：research.但是实际上国外的文章里面更多的是study.
2 我们再来看剑四test1里面的第一个阅读文章的第一个段落：
Adults and children are frequently confronted with statements about the alarming rate of loss of tropical rainforests. For example, one graphic illustration to which children might readily relate is the estimate that rainforests are being destroyed at a rate equivalent to one thousand football fields every forty minutes---about the duration of a normal classroom period. It is also possible that some of these ideas will be mistaken.
“confronted with statements”几乎没有一个学生会想到在雅思作文的第一个句子里面完全能够写这个句子。比如：Citizens, socialists, managers, and governors are frequently confronted with statements about the alarming rate of problems correlated with the retirements of old employees. 这个句子就能够作为这个题目的第一个段落的第一个句子It is often said that people over 60 should not work any more because of the problems they create, the employers should make them retire. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your opinion.
而我们的学生写的第一句就是这样的：There is a topic on the Guardian, Times, New York Time, whether the old man over 60 should retire. 、
而这个学生是参加过雅思测试有2次的，我相信她应该是做阅读的时候是见过这个段落的。

这个三个句子是非常好的不确定证明的经典引用句子。但是我们的很多同学就是劈腿就是must,have to,等绝对性词汇。
通俗点说：与其10天会背诵100个句子，还不如10天只会写1个句子。所以学生们，请永远不要与我反驳：这样弄，那速度太慢了。很多女孩子买了很多衣服，但是很多衣服只是放在那里没有穿。我说与其买100件衣服放在那里，还不如买1件穿1件。这样才是真正的利用。

06年的时候在兰州大学教四六级的时候,有个学生跟我说：朱老师我现在已经坚持了3个月了。每天写日记。我个天哪。我觉得这个方法是非常愚蠢的。因为没有人帮你改。实际上你是在重复犯错或者重复简单。尤其是雅思作文。
1，比如：有个学生要写环境方面的问题。There are many environmental problems caused by the forest cutting.这样的句子，实际上需要老师一个一个改才有提高的。否则10年后，我们的学生还是会写出和这个差不多的句子。应该改成：there are many environmental problems including overpopulation, erosion of soil, destruction of biodiversity, as well as devastation of natural habitats, caused by the alarming rate of loss of tropical rainforests(或the destruction of rainforests).只能是一句一句改，并提出新的修改建议，才有提高。
各位同学请记住：必须保证自己每天写作有新的准确的词汇，句型，或观点，否则不要写。您在浪费你的宝贵时间。
2，再比如：有个这样的题目：It is often said that people over 60 should not work any more because of the problems they create, the employers should make them retire. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your opinion.
There is a topic on the Guardian, Times, New York Time, whether the old man over 60 should retire. Somebody contend the old man is easy to get tired so that they can not finish their work timely while the others have a dissent pinion.
1，There are many debates whether the old man over 60 should retire or not, on the Guardian, Times, New York Time.学生必须在第一个段落马上呈现自己的观点，让读者尽量少花时间来思索和前后综合来理解你的观点。如果是我的话，我会：I insist that the topic idea, from some aspects, is reasonable, and that we should not ignore some special cases.
As far as I know, the old man, especially who has high pressure, diabetes and high cholesterols often need rest when he exposes to some situation of difficulty and huge stress. Hence, the daily work could not be completed. Then, the solution to a problem will be chopped and changed due to the development and research of technology. The old man is tough to have access to these advanced techniques, for instance, surfing the internet, taking advantage of Microsoft Office software, for enhancing the efficiency of the holistic work. Thus, the old man should retire when he is 60 years old.
你这个段落的point是什么呢？到底是站在那几个角度这个观点有合理之处呢？还是说这个观点忽略了一些现实的事实呢？所以我觉得简单点这样都好些：some people could find many evidences to support some managers to fix some rules of making some old employees to retire around 60-year-old.当然也有牛人能够不需要这样的引导句子，但是学生你还是应该要走稳妥路线。

我在培训老师的时候强调这句话：不教则已，一教学生能在考场上用，否则最好不要教。各位同学，作文课堂，你不是来欣赏老师多么多么牛的，你是来学习在作文考场上能够用的。所以大家在上课的是应该尽量提醒自己和老师，多问，老师你讲这个我能够用吗？
